My sister pointed out that I have already turned into a blogging slacker. Worse, though, I haven't tracked my food for the last two days because I didn't fit in lunch or a walk. Man, is Gracie peeved. But to make it up to her, we took her to the vet yesterday where she got her temperature checked - you know, rectally - and she threw an absolute hissy fit. The technician had to bring in another employee because I couldn't hold Gracie tightly enough. I don't know what got into that dog. Well, I know what got into her, but how big can a thermometer be?
Perhaps I am avoiding the issue here. Back to eating. Considering I skipped tracking and walking, I was pretty pleased when I stepped on the scales this morning and weighed in at 164 on the dot. Don't ask me how I did it, but that makes just under six pounds for the week.
I've been here before...often. I lose about ten pounds, get really excited, and then eat a little extra and exercise a little less. I am determined to get back on track tomorrow - tracking and exercising. But I'm also determined to go to the antique mall. Does walking around that big building count as exercise?
